Early Intervention Program (EIP)

Provides services to families with children aged from birth to kindergarten entry who are at risk of, or identified with, a developmental delay or disability.  EIP program consists of a team of therapists that work together with families, caregivers & community members to provide intervention services that promote optimal achievement in all area of development.

Sometimes assessments are used to gather information about a child’s strengths and challenges.  Theses are planned with each individual child in mind and information is typically gathered using formal evaluations, through observation and/or during interactive play activities.  A Family Service Plan is developed that reflects the goals identified and describes the strategies agreed upon by the team.

All Services offered through EIP are free of charge.

Eby Centre EIP services include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology and Music Therapy. Therapists collaborate with the Infant Development Consultants, Supported Child Development Program, Preschool Teachers and staff at Park Centre.
