Speech and Language
Therapy (SLP)
Speech and Language Therapists (SLPs) serve families with children birth-19 years of age with their speech and language development to strengthen communication skills.

Families choose to receive services at their home, the Family Connection Centre, Park Centre, or an alternate location. There is no fee for this service.

An SLP is part of the multidisciplinary team whose role is to help a child communicate effectively. SLPs work with the child, the family, and community partners to assist in developing skills and implementing strategies aimed at enhancing your child’s communication skills.
